Tyler R.J. Couperus is a certified Immigration Consultant, a member in good standing with the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants and with the Canadian Migration Institute. In 2004 Tyler graduated from Seneca College in the Court and Tribunal Agent program and also obtained a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. In his law clerk career he has worked for two top North American Immigration and Refugee Law firms practising Canadian Immigration, Jordan Battista LLP which specialized in same sex immigration matters and Green & Spiegel which also handed American Immigration matters. As his schooling from Seneca was in the realm of individual client representation in a courtroom setting and not in the law clerk stream offer by so many firms, Tyler made the decision to further his immigration studies.

Accordingly, Tyler graduated in 2009 from Humber College as an Immigration Consultant with Honours. With his more than five years of experience working in these firms Tyler brings his immense knowledge and practical hands on skills with him to his own immigration practise as an Immigration Consultant. In addition, he is also a Commissioner of Oaths and Affidavits.

Moreover, Tyler has also held many volunteer positions to give back within the GLBT community, most recently sitting on the board of directors for the Ontario Pride Network within the Ontario Government, his two year term has now ended however new opportunities are in the works.
