The Jewish Community Day School of RI is a pluralistic day school welcoming children in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5 from all backgrounds, interfaith through Modern Orthodox. Our students learn to respect and value a variety of perspectives, while at the same time recognizing commonalities. As citizens of the community and the world, they plan and participate in activities that support their peers, their neighborhood, and their planet.

Our students graduate with a solid educational foundation, a second language, and a strong sense of identity. Together, our General and Judaic Studies curricula develop higher level thinking skills while promoting values and ethics. As a part of our Judaic Studies program, students learn Hebrew as a modern, living language and as a gateway to text study. Research has shown that learning a second language positively affects intellectual growth, encourages flexibility in thinking and improves children's understanding of their first language. Within this dual curriculum, our students become confident learners and leaders.
