LGBT Inclusion Project is a non-profit organization based in Central California.
LGBT Inclusion Project arose from the ashes from the fierily debate over Proposition 8, the state-wide constitutional amendment defining marriage as follows: “between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.” After the approval of Prop 8 by California voters, other discouraging and discriminating events began to occur affecting the LGBT community.
The mission of LGBT Inclusion Project is to promote awareness of the LGBT community and to guarantee acceptance into mainstream society. LGBT individuals have been a part of human history since the beginning of time.
Many of these individuals changed history simply by the fact that they themselves were human and they contributed to our human condition to help improve it. The LGBT community is no different from mainstream society.
We love and care about our fellow humankind. We simply hope we are able to change the minds and perspectives of many to better help our human condition.
