The Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition is a 501 c 3 charity with the mission of promoting livable and sustainable communities by encouraging the building of more bicycle/pedestrian friendly facilities and promoting educational programs in which residents and visitors can safely ride and walk on a more frequent basis.

We advance our mission by producing bicycling events, host a web site, distribute free trail maps, consult public agencies on the measures and policies needed to build a more bicycle friendly region and a world-class cycling destination, and promote public awareness campaigns on the value cycling plays in building a sustainable region - balancing economy, community and environment.
