Choosing the right therapist is all about the fit between the client and therapist. Experience, location and even price are just the beginning. You have to find someone who understands what you are talking about, moves at your pace and has expertise in the issues you are working on. Most of my clients are between the ages of 27 and 40. This is the time when people are working through the big life questions about relationships, career, family and sexuality. It is not uncommon to become depressed or anxious during this period. Therapy can be especially useful during this process.
