River Walk Inn Bed and Breakfast is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the edge of downtown Eugene, Oregon. We consider it the perfect location for out-of-town guests for two reasons.

First, it is close to almost everything. The University of Oregon is less than 10 minutes away by car or bicycle, as is the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, Lane County Fairground, downtown shopping and restaurants. Eugene’s mall, Valley River Center, is a short walk down the bike path and over a foot bridge – perfect for an evening stroll.

Second, (some say this should be first), is the fact that the Bed and Breakfast Inn gives you immediate access to the Willamette River bike/walking trail and the parks that border the river. The Owen Rose Garden, a lovely rose and perennial garden is just down the path and is a great after-breakfast meander. The bike/walking trail is a paved path of over 20 miles, much of it along the river – well loved and used by visitors and locals alike. The trail also allows you to walk or bike to the University and Autzen Stadium without using surface streets.

We welcome children and we have a large number of great children’s books in our library. Keep in mind that the inn is not child proof by any stretch of the imagination. There are lots of breakables in the common areas, the guest rooms are less of a problem. All guest rooms are on the second floor, if that makes a difference to you.There is a great city park next to the Inn with a tennis court, playground, and in the summer, a wading pool.
