Ms. Silber concentrates her practice in the areas of family and employment law. 

Her family law practice includes second parent adoptions, domesitc partnership agreements and dissolutions, nonbiological parent custody and visitation, and representing LGBT clients in divorce actions.   She also advises same sex couples about the legal implications of marrying in the District of Columbia.

Her employment law practice includes representing victims of illegal workplace discrimination, including workplace sexual orientation discrimination and gender stereotyping discrimination.  She also represents government employees in civil service grievances and disciplinary actions and government employees and federal contractors in security clearance proceedings. 

She represents small businesses regarding all aspects of employment law.
