The AIDS Coalition of Cape Breton is a harm reduction based organization serving the whole island with our office in Sydney. We offer non-judgmental services and education about homophobia, transphobia, safer sex and drug use.
Some of the services we offer:
- FREE condoms, lube, oral dams and non-latex gloves
- Resources on reducing risk of transmission of HIV/AIDS, Hep C and other STIs
- Resources for queer/bi/gay/trans men who have sex with men
- Support to Gay-Straight Alliances in Cape Breton High Schools
- Educational sessions on homophobia, transphobia and HIV/AIDS
- Clean rigs and information on safer drug use
