History of Papillon Center

Papillon Gender Wellness Center was created in the fall of 2000, when Dr. McGinn discovered through her transition, just how daunting it was to find a competent, affordable and comprehensive care for her own journey. It began as a web-based resource for contra-hormone therapy and transition information for gender variant individuals, their loved-ones and their health providers. In 2007, the clinic opened in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and aspires to be a center of excellence for the care of transgender individuals and their families.

Papillon Center is comprised of both trans and non-trans professionals and volunteers. Our aim is to deliver diverse, expert services and specialize in just one thing ... transgender care. Providers are specially selected as leaders in their field, who have the right mix of passion, expertise, and real-life understanding of transgender issues. It is a requirement that all providers keep up-to-date with current developments in their particular field as it relates to transgender care.

While avoiding the "gate-keeper" mentality, our team works together to provide a multifaceted approach to all aspects of transition. We realize how expensive and time-consuming transition can be, so our holistic approach has been tailored to provide up-to-date services conveniently safely, and affordably. We also make every effort to reach out to the transgender as well as the non-transgender community to facilitate awareness of the amazing variety of gender identity and expression.

Papillon Gender Wellness Center offers Vaginoplasty, Labiaplsty, FTM top surgeries, Metoidioplasty with or without urethroplasty, Scrotoplasty, FFS, Breast Augmentation, Trachea Shave, Permanent Hair Removal, Voice Therapy, Medical Tattooing and Hormone therapy.
