Richard has received artistic and critical acclaim over the past 15 years as Carol Channing.

2009 found Richard getting back to his roots and appearing more as himself. In July 2009, he and Dana Lorgelaunched WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT THE IGUANA at The Iguana Restaurant, a weekly variety show harkening back to the variety shows of our youth. The last few months have brought many professional highs, including receiving two more MAC AWARDS to join his previous wins (This time for OUTSTANDING HOSTS and RECURRING SERIES). Richard continues to teach his workshops on HOW TO MAKE A LIVING AS AN ENTERTAINER. He has served on several panels on the business end of show business. He has emceed several prestigious events. 2010, Richard was the associate producer of the Bistro Awards in association with Sherry Eaker.
