A small gay-owned bed and breakfast establishment in a delightful part of the UK. Kington is a small town ideally placed for exploring the local countryside, or visiting historic houses and gardens, or just mooching about local towns such as Leominster, Ludlow, Hereford and the ubiquitous Hay-on-Wye. For keen walkers, the Offa's Dyke footpath runs past the front door and the Mortimer Trail is nearby.
The owner makes a conscious effort to make the house peaceful: there is no television and very little music, so that there is a relaxed feeling about the place even though it is in a small town.
Accommodation comprises one twin-bedded and one double room. Adam tries to cater for most food allergies (with prior notice) and it should also be pointed out that there is a cat on the premises. The Bench Mark is an old house on different levels and with no ground-floor accommodation, thus it is not really suitable for the infirm or those with mobility problems
Kington is easily accessed by road, being on the A.44 and also by public transport: there is a regular bus service from Hereford, where there are mainline trains from Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester and London.
