I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Oakland Park, Florida. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and I am a Certified Addictions Professional. I have 25+ years of experience in the therapy field, providing counseling to adults and adolescents.

I strive to provide a safe, trusting, confidential and nurturing environment so my clients feel comfortable exploring areas of their lives that may be causing them emotional, mental, spiritual, physical, or sexual pain or distress.

I provide therapy for people struggling with various types of addictions, such as, alcohol, drugs, food, sex, codependency, gambling, etc. In addition, those experiencing challenges in their relationships with their partners/spouses, those experiencing depression, anxiety, domestic violence, eating disorders, grief/loss issues, past or current traumas, codependency in their relationships, and GLBT and related issues.

The process to begin therapy would start with calling to schedule an appointment for a free initial consultation which is approximately 30 minutes in length. The initial consult is primarily designed to meet with one another to see if you feel comfortable with me and to identify whether or not the problems or issues that you present is within my area of expertise. If the issue you present is within my area of expertise then we would make an appointment for you to return for a full, in-depth counseling assessment.
