At 2439 Fairfield "A Bed & Breakfast" (circa 1905) you will experience Victorian Elegance with Southern Charm.

Our 4 antique appointed guest rooms have private baths with whirlpool tubs, designer linens and robes, and private balconies.  Your room may have a king size four poster bed with a lace canopy, a king size sleigh bed, an 1860 petticoat vanity, wet bar, or a sitting room with a Queen Anne loveseat and chairs.  Down pillows, hand-made Amish quilts and down comforters invite you to curl up in the bed to read a good book or catch up on your favorite television program.  Televisions are pleasantly tucked away in the armoires.

If business is on your mind, there are tables or desks in each of the rooms for a  nice, quiet workstation.  Wireless internet access, fax machine and copier are available for all your business needs.

Your step back in time is further enhanced by an 1893 concert grand piano and a 1900 pump organ in the drawing room, all of which will encourage you to meet and talk with other guests or experience the gracious southern hospitality of your hosts. If you prefer, there is always a quiet place for intimate conversation.

Each morning you will be treated to a proper English breakfast starting with fresh fruit, cheeses, homemade sweet breads, cereal, juice, coffee, and hot tea, followed by eggs, sausage, ham, fresh sauteed mushrooms, English muffins with homemade jellies, and hashbrown casserole.

We're situated in the historic district on a beautiful avenue of splendid mansions and homes built at the turn of the century.  Downtown Shreveport, Shreveport Regional Airport, Barksdale Air Force Base, museums, art galleries, Louisiana Downs and river boat casinos are only minutes away.  The Line Avenue shopping corridor with many unique shops and quaint restaurants is just a few blocks away.
