As the newest resort development of its type in Door County, Birchwood Lodge, has an “upscale design and atmosphere” with attractive and budget conscious rates for couples, families and large groups.

Room sizes range from studio suites, grand one bedroom suites, two bedroom units and the restored Koessl Farmhouse, which can accommodate up to ten people. With our variety of lodging possibilities, we can satisfy guests' housing preferences ranging from simple to luxurious. Our Premier Suites, expanded studio units, are perfect for couples. Every Premier Suite has a king size bed, double whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, TV/DVD player, kitchenette, and a small dining/sitting area combination with a queen size sleeper sofa for two more people. All of the Premier suites have their own private decks or balconies. With all of these same features, the Grand One Bedroom Suites additionally have huge walk-in showers with multi-head fixtures, and a full kitchen. The Grand Two Bedroom Suite and our two bedroom Village Homes, have two bedrooms, two full baths, full kitchens, and spacious dining and living room areas. These units are the desired choices as lodging possibilities for larger families or friends, up to six people. The restored and newly updated Koessl Farmhouse, the original home for the farm family that once owned the property, has four bedrooms, two full baths, a full kitchen, sitting and dining area and a private deck.

Though we have implemented many energy and cost saving practices, we haven't skimped on the wide array of amenities we provide, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court, exercise room, video game room, and a continental breakfast each morning. Most of our suites include double whirlpool tubs, gas fireplaces, flat screen TV's and wi-fi accessiblity. We also have a business center to keep track of email or important messages when you're away from home.
