Located in Ulster County high in the Caskills, it's hard to believe that in today's hurly-burly world you can be so totally removed from everything and still be only a little over two hours from Times Square.

The Blue Horizon sits on over 5 acres of park-like land with a fifty mile view over the mountains, and is surrounded by thousands of acres of state land that is "forever green". Hiking trails abound.  Waterfalls, hidden swimming holes and lovely country walks await you.  Have a drink in our hot tub overlooking the far hills, or just lounge on our wrap around deck with a good book.

While there are many fine restaurants a half hour or more away, for a modest extra charge we would be happy to prepare a candle lit gourmet dinner to your taste by the fireplace, given a day's advance notice.

We are forty five minutes away from the fabulous Bethel Center for the Performing Arts, about an hour from the Bellayre Music Festival in summer and skiing all winter. Ask us about snowshoeing. We'll even prepare a great trail lunch for you. There are craft shows all summer and antiqueing all year long. But best of all, we are a superb spot to enjoy "la dolce fa' niente." Come and enjoy!
