Emerald Coast Pride (ECP) is the oldest standing LGBT organization in the Northwest Florida Panhandle covering the Panhandle west of Tallahassee and east of Pensacola. Established on April 26, 2006, ECP became the first LGBT Pride Organization in Panama City, Florida. The inception was created with the goal of empowering the LGBT community through education, advocacy and social support. Through these components, ECP has grown into a visible, vocal and viable Pride Organization that has brought together, not only, the LGBT community, but also its allies and supporters.
Emerald Coast Pride, Inc. stands as an alliance working to empower the gay, lesbian, bisexual & transgendered person(s), as well as their friends and families to affirm their identity, and to create an atmosphere where the diversity in our community can thrive both collectively and seperately. Through providing education, advocacy, social support & cultural programs, we hope to effect positive changes in our community.
This year's Pride Festival will be held Thursday, June 23rd until Sunday, June 26th. Be sure to check the website for complete details (as they become available).
