The Gays have landed in Whistler for Gay Ski week, 02-24-2011 05:22PM

By: Dean

The Gays have landed! Like a flock of geese, the gays return to the resort of Whistler for the annual Gay Ski Week - WinterPRIDE. This year (Jan. 30 - Feb. 6) was an exceptional year, maybe because of La Nina - the weather phenomenon giving unusual amount of snow and colder temps or maybe because Princess La Nina her self came out to greet her people of Whistler at the start of the week. Whatever it was, you could feel the energy, the excitement and the gayness of the resort with rainbow flags on lamp posts and in store front windows, drag queens and kings prancing through the village and so many handsome men - you would almost think it was a photo shoot for Hollister.

Snowball this year, was off the hook. The visuals were awesome, the vibe, the elevated dance floor and the line up with DJ Adam Dreaddy (Vancouver), Destineak (Vancouver Pop/Dance group heating up the charts), ZAYRA - belting out her ‘Dance Chart’ hits of “V.I.P.” DJ superstar Eddie Baez - Sensational!
