As a criminal defense attorney. I understand that my clients may be dealing with the most frightening experience of their lives. I strive to make the legal process less stressful and obtain a successful outcome, and am the person with whom they will have contact. Questions and concerns are always addressed by me, not by a secretary or paralegal. My office does not solicit clients by mail- instead my clients come to me through referrals made by current and former clients who are their friends, neighbors, classmates, and co-workers as well as from other lawyers both within and outside NC. Unlike " letter-writers." I prefer to keep my focus on offering thorough, aggressive and responsive representation rather than seeing how many cases a day I can handle. Because of this, I am able to get to know my clients, develop long-term relationships with them and, in turn, am fortunate to have them refer others to my office.
