Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange-MARE

Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange-MARE

MARE recruits adoptive parents for children in state foster care. You can be single, married, partnered; LGBT; homeowner or renter; experienced parent or first-timer; nearly any age; nearly any income, as long as it's stable and sufficient to support the growing family.

Hundreds of children and teens are growing up in state care, waiting for a parent to want them and love them. What are YOU waiting for?

Adoption from foster care is free; the training is free. Children adopted out of state care in Massachusetts are eligible for free tuition at Mass. state colleges and universities.

Through familiars programs like Wednesday's Child on WBZ TV and Sunday's Child in the Boston Globe, plus a variety of other programs, MARE has been finding adoptive homes for children in foster care since 1957.

We've helped over 5,600 children leave state care for adoption in loving families. But more children need adoption every week.

Please contact us and we'll answer your questions confidentially, and help you get started.

Visit our website to learn more and see some of the local children who are waiting for adoption.

Every child deserves a safe and loving family.
