OutReach's Mission
To promote equality and quality of life for LGBT people.

OutReach's Services include:

  • Information and Referrals: Trained volunteers/staff provide info on a wide variety of community services/resources along w/referrals to LGBT& allied professionals.
  • Peer Counseling: Staff/trained volunteers provide peer counseling, crisis intervention & support.
  • Speakers’ Bureau: A tool for facilitating education & dialogue on issues relevant to LGBTQ people. OutReach sends speakers to a variety of audiences.
  • Discussion/Social and Coming Out Groups: OutReach offers coming out & discussion/social groups throughout the year.
  • Meeting Space: LGBT organizations & allies are welcome to use the group meeting room/meeting area.
  • Lending Library: The Earl Greely Memorial Library is the largest LGBT library in Wisconsin. Over 6,000 books, current magazines & newsletters are available.
  • Calendar & Guide: Monthly publication of events & meetings, with organization telephone numbers is available at several local outlets & at our sister website. The Calendar & Guide also includes a resource guide to LGBT & allied businesses & organizations.
  • Community Space: We are open to the public Mon-Fri, 10 am - 7pm and Sat, 12 - 4 pm. OutReach posts information on current events, job openings, housing, health & brochures from area LGBT organizations & services.
  • Advocacy: Peer support, information & referrals to service professionals are available to individuals who experience discrimination or harassment based on sexual orientation/gender identity.
  • The Directory: Annual publication of supportive organizations/businesses. We have an online version.
