Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre is a public art gallery located in Haliburton Village in the historic railway station. We present a year round program of art exhibitions by artists from the Haliburton region and beyond. Our Gallery Shop features local artists in a wide variety of media from painting to jewelry.
The Rails End is host to the Haliburton Art and Craft Festival on the fourth weekend of July each year in Head Lake Park. This juried, outdoor event is a signature event for Haliburton County and attracts 7500 visitors from far and wide. The Festival is enriched by local buskers, a beer and bbq tent overlooking Head Lake and two art exhibitions inside the gallery by teachers from Haliburton School of The Arts and well know Haliburton artists.
Providing transformative and engaging experiences through contemporary art since 1969.
