I have always loved weddings, and I consider it an honor and a privilege to now be officiating weddings and sharing in such a joyful moment for couples and their families and friends. It's a special honor to be an officiant for LGBT couples, since it's been such a challenging battle for us to obtain marriage rights. Even though California is currently not recognizing our marriages, I still officiate at same-sex ceremonies, and consider them to be weddings.
