Located just south of the St. Petersburg-Tampa Bay region along Florida's breezy central Gulf Coast, the bustling city of Sarasota has developed an increasingly popular gay pride celebration. The Sarasota Gay Pride celebration takes place the last week in October. The main event for Sarasota Gay Pride is the free Pride Fest but there are events throughout the preceding week.
