New Hampshire's marriage equality law went into effect on January 1, 2010, making same-sex marriage legal in the state of New Hampshire. The Highlands is one of very few inns or resorts dedicated to serving the lesbian community. Since our first commitment ceremony in 1985, hundreds of couples have held civil union and commitment ceremonies, and now weddings at the Inn.
