The Wimslow

Super Bed and Breakfast set in a late Victorian seafront property with bags of character. 1st floor breakfast room with superb views across Morecambe Bay to the Lake District Mountains beyond. Comfy beds, all rooms ensuite, generous welcome tray (so no dilemma as to when to have your one cup of tea or one cup of coffee!). Special dietary requirements? Just let us know and we will do our absolute best to accommodate.

Unfortunately, owing to the constraints of the building, we do not have any family rooms and we are therefore an adult only guest house.

The Wimslow is a restful and welcoming Bed and Breakfast. An ideal base from which to tour the South Lakes, Forest of Bowland and even the western side of the Yorkshire Dales. Morecambe and Lancaster sit "cheek to jowl" so plenty of city, coast and countryside to be experienced within relatively close proximity.

Ever seen 'Brief Encounter' (classic old black and white movie). The train station shots were filmed in Carnforth just a few miles up the road from Morecambe and there is now a visitor centre dedicated to the film at the station.
