Welcome to our cosy 200 year old stone build cottage by the shores of Loch Fyne in Kintyre, Argyll Scotland, affording fantastic views and wild life.

Your accommodation comprises of a lovely comfortable bright double bedroom with tea/coffee making facilities, private bathroom and a sun lounge with balcony. We can also provide if required, a twin bedded room also with tea/coffee making facilities which shares the bathroom above.

To start you on your day of sightseeing in this part of the world, we provide a hearty breakfast of fruit juice & cereals, followed by a full Scottish/vegetarian, or for the more health conscious scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, or mushroom & tomato, or bacon & tomato, followed by toast & jams & a pot of tea or freshly brewed coffee. This can be served in the sun lounge or outside on the balcony or garden patio (weather permitting).

The area around the cottage is of historic interest and includes the world famous Crinan Canal as well as Dunadd - the remains of an Iron Age fort and ancient Capital of Dalriada (Scotland) where the 1st kings of Scotland were inaugurated. Also within this area are various cup & ring markings as well as ancient burial grounds. Marked walking and cycling trails taking you along the canal tow path or through forests are within a few minutes of the cottage, as is the 28 mile circular route via Kilberry overlooking the islands of Islay and Jura. The towns of Ardrishaig and Lochgilphead are 2 miles and 4 miles away respectively, where you'll find various shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs - there is also a public swimming pool in Lochgilphead.
