The Algonquin Eco-Lodge is a small, award winning off-grid lodge on the southern tip of world famous Algonquin Park. It is deep in the forest and nestled on the shores of a private lake and a cascading waterfall.
The Eco-Lodge is completely off-grid yet provides all the cozy comforts such as an outdoor hot tub thanks to the micro-hydro generator installed on the waterfall. It was for this project that we won the "Sustainable Tourism" award from the Government of Ontario.
The Eco-Lodge is a perfect place for people who are interested in nature and wildlife but don't want to have to sleep in a tent to experience it!
It is also a great place to reconnect with your partner, family or friends since there are no outside distractions. No TV, no internet, and no cell service. A real Digital Detox retreat! We do have board games, a bonfire pit, a private lake with good swimming, and an outdoor ho tub and wood fired sauna. Plus over 40 km of hiking trails and canoe routes.
All meals are included in our rates.
