We like to think of ourselves as the best-kept secret in Georgia. The five-acre Ashford Estate, overlooking Watkinsville’s venerable Main Street, has been in the same family for over 100 years. The Victorian manor house, cottage, landscaped gardens are terraced down to a pool and open woods beyond, with 9 guest accommodations. Ten minutes from Athens, 90 minutes from Atlanta.

The most comprehensive, and to our eye, the most romantic ceremony facility in the area. An exceptional setting for receptions, ceremonies, showers, rehearsal dinners, parties and overnight accommodations.

Sundays through Thursdays room rates are based on our breakfast options. We provide a full gourmet breakfast for $129, Continental breakfast for $109, and the room rate with no breakfast is $89. Our two-story Penthouse Suite with Jacuzzi and other amenities is $169 during the week (Sun-Thurs.) and includes a full breakfast. On Fridays and Saturdays we have four rates: Our two-story Penthouse Suite with Jacuzzi and other amenities is $199. The Cottage Suite is $175. The White and Asian Rooms with king beds are $159. The Garden, English and Safari Rooms with queen beds are $139. The weekend rates include a complete gourmet breakfast. (When considering other hotels please note that in this community the tax is 7%. In the Athens area, tax is 14%.) All rates are for double occupancy. In those rooms that can take more than two adults (the Penthouse and English Rooms) there is an additional $15 charge per person. The Safari Room and Cottage Suite are dog friendly and can accommodate one large or two small dogs at an additional $15 per dog. Please remember all rooms have a coffee maker and mini fridge. These reduced rates do not apply to Holiday's, UGA Football Home Games and Graduation Weekends.
