Never touched by glaciers, the Driftless Area is characterized by its beautifully sculpted topography - famous bluffs, coulees and small winding streams. Forested hillsides reach down to valleys cut into limestone bedrock by cold-water trout streams.

Mildly primitive, on 6 acres that is private and beautiful, our cabin offers Internet, TV, unlimited domestic telephone services, along with a kitchenette and air conditioning. Bear Creek makes up the southern border of the property, and its soothing babble can be heard inside the cabin, particularly at night. Beavers have built dams in the creek, providing deeper pools for fishing.

Rid yourself of clothing and get outdoors, keeping your eyes and ears open as wildlife pass near and through this beautiful property. Sunbathe with your loved one au natural. Savor a few relaxing hours on the porch and at the creekside bench. Tune in the sounds of nature or your favorite radio station as you embrace a sunny day's warmth over your skin.

Arise early on a dew-drenched summer morning, and you'd swear you were in a rain forest - feel the eerie mist in the hills; the trees shimmering as drops of sun heated dew rain down on the cabin. You may capture a view of deer and other woodland creatures, as well as a wide variety of birds, including turkey, bluebirds, and hummingbirds. An occasional eagle and owls have been observed flying overhead and nearby.

Public shower facilities and swimming pool are less than 10 minutes away. You can also shower outdoors in the front yard with the provided solar heated, gravity fed camp showers.
