Blackpool Library Service provides a wide range of LGBT materials and encourages LGBT events such as author visits. There are community rooms available for hire by groups at some of our libraries. There is a programme of events for people of all ages and these are advertised on the Council and library websites, in the local newspaper and in the libraries. The newly refurbished Central Library (opening Sept 2011) will have cafe facilities. All libraries are disabled friendly and most have public toilet facilities.
