The C.W. Worth House Bed and Breakfast is a gracious and comfortable Queen Anne style Victorian Inn located in Wilmington, North Carolina. Wilmington is on the East Coast and is the southern most city in North Carolina. Our bed and breakfast is in the Historic District just three blocks to the Cape Fear River.
We offer seven guest rooms with private bath (one with whirlpool). Guests are delighted by the warmth and vitality of the house, the spacious bedrooms, the common rooms, porches and gardens.
A full two-course breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. Additional in-room amenities include WiFi, clock radio/CD player, sitting area, desk, ceiling fan, hair dryer, robes and full length mirror. Not all rooms have a TV, so be sure to ask. The third floor lounge has a Smart TV/DVD, game table with puzzles and games, lots of books and magazines and a computer for guests to use.
Escape to Wilmington and explore all the history here dating back to the Civil War and Revolutionary times. The WWII Memorial Battleship North Carolina is located on our river downtown; easy to get to and wonderful to tour. Enjoy walking tours, house tours, boat tours along the river and of course the horse and carriage tour. Relax the afternoons away at one of many alfresco wine bars/restaurants and watch the sunset. Fine dining of International cuisines are nearby and upscale shops and antique stores are within walking distance. Art galleries, live theatre, concerts and musical events are all located in Wilmington. C.W. Worth House is only 15 minutes from outstanding beaches and a short drive to great Wilmington area golf courses.
