We will never tell you what to believe. There is no dogma by which you have to commit. There is so much wisdom to explore -from the teachings of all faiths and cultures. The inherent worth and dignity of all people is one of our principles.  

The Social Justice Committee of TJUC is dedicated to creating a just, equitable and compassionate society by:

• helping others achieve their goals and improve their lives
• promoting equal rights and opportunities for all people
• creating opportunities for individual and community growth through education and action

Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church is a Welcoming Congregation.  The Welcoming Congregation Program is a volunteer program for Unitarian Universalist congregations that want to take intentional steps to become more welcoming and inclusive of people with marginalized sexual orientations and gender identities.  We are proud members of FEVA (Fair Event Vendors Alliance that serves our LGBTQ+ community.

Religious Exploration classes are available for children, youth and adults . We also have small groups that share and support  each other.
