I'm interested in providing a safe place where one can recognize their feelings, thoughts, memories and desires. These all impact the way people act, react, and relate to others. Awareness is also an essential step toward the resolution of specific problems. I view problems in the context of the whole person and their environment, and help to find meaning no matter how one expresses their story.

I encourage people to talk about their thoughts and feelings that come up about therapy. This offers a rich source of understanding, and an opening to experience and rework painful feelings arising from the past or present. A therapeutic relationship provides an opportunity for people to discover how they relate to themselves and others, to make connections between past and current conflicts, and offers the possibility for relating in a new way.
