I, Susan S. Han, formed Han Law Group focusing exclusively on Immigration Law after spending nearly 9 years as a co-founding partner of another law firm, and have been practicing Immigration Law since 1998.  I have extensive experience and have helped thousands of people obtain or keep their legal status in the U.S. I have vast experience in handling all aspects of immigration law including Family-based and Employment-based petitions, Asylum, DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Business and investment visas, NACARA, U visas, citizenship and naturalization, deportation/removal defense,and appeals at all levels.

I have a special relationship with the LBGT community as I represent a number of transgenders seeking asylum or withholding of removal in deportation proceedings who have suffered tremendously in their home countries. After the Defense Against Marriage Act was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court, it has been my pleasure to represent a number of sam-sex couples where the foreign national spouse is seeking a green card to remain in the U.S. Everyone should be treated equally and fairly under the law without discrimination.  

I was selected as a “Super Lawyer” by my colleagues and peers, and have been named as one of the “Top Lawyers in Southern California” as featured in Los Angeles Magazine from 2010-2014.  I have a 10.0 Superb rating on Avvo.com, a website to find lawyers.

I am admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. I am an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Korean-American Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
