Very centrally located in the Historic town of Niagara on the Lake.  Walking distance to shopping, fine/family dining, Shaw Festival Theatre, Royal George Theatre and the Courthouse Theatre.  A two-minute walk to the award winning  100 Fountain Spa in the Pillar and Post Inn.  Walking distance to Jackson Triggs winery, Pellar Estates and Two Sisters winery. The bike path along the Niagara River begins one block from our door. For special winery events, activities, tastings and dinners held at the wineries, please check our calendar for Winery Events. Take a wine tour and savour the taste of wines from the Niagara Region.

The guest house is separate from the host house.  Guests may also enjoy their morning coffee and tea or a glass of wine in the evening on the wrap-around porches.

Guests at our B&B enjoy a private entrance with a private living/dining room, fully equipped with a fireplace, flat-screen TV/DVD, small DVD library, refrigerator, microwave, free WIFI throughout the house, complimentary 24/hour hot/cold beverages.

Service is our pleasure.  We offer a full, hot three-four course gourmet breakfast with breakfast meats and a selection of fish for seafood lovers.  Yes, smoked salmon for breakfast is our speciality. Enjoy regular or decaf coffee, and a choice of 30 teas, and a couple of juices. For those who need to leave early we offer a 7:30 am Continental breakfast or our regular hot breakfast at 9:00 a.m. We do try to help with dietary restrictions and food allergies, however, we request being notified 48 hours in advance.

At John’s Gate Gourmet B&B we have several packages and will try to customize any package for you. We offer Travel Agents a healthy commission and will offer any guests who book directly with us a discount.
