Knickerbocker Sailing Association is a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender sailing club. We encourage members who support diversity and enjoy getting out on the water of the greater New York area. Members do not need sailing experience to join, because we are a welcoming group that will orient each other to the basics of sailing and boat safety. Our membership consists of over 180 members, including crew, captains of sailboats and powerboats, and we all love the outdoors and the water.
If you are interested in joining our club we recommend that you attend one our monthly meetings open to all. The are held the second Tuesday of the month during the season (April through November) at People Lounge in the Lower East Side. See our website for more details.
