Dedicated to helping Colorado families. I run a small practice so that I can give each of my clients the attention they deserve.
While a volunteer with The Center’s Legal Initiatives Project (CLIP) in Denver, I learned first-hand how the law provides better remedies for some citizens than others. This experience compelled me to go to law school. I wanted to help those in need, especially those who need help navigating a legal system that may not be tailor-made to their situation. And while our legal system may not be perfect, it can manifest good in people’s lives. It provides for the protection of parental rights and parent-child relationships, regardless of the status or make-up of the family; the financial support of our children; and the ability to care for our loved ones in times of misfortune. Much remains to be done, but the legal system today does provide an informed attorney with many tools to aid families in need, including non-traditional families.
