I have been a counselor and body and movement-based psychotherapist since 1997. My experience includes working with inpatient and outpatient psychiatric mental health, geriatric mental health, special needs populations and private practice.
I approach the counseling process from a holistic perspective, fusing traditional talk therapy techniques with an attention to the body, movement and creativity. I also use the Internal Family Systems approach to therapy, helping clients access and work with different parts of themselves, thereby gaining tools for continued growth throughout life. My work and practice are also influenced by the field of Ecopsychology.
