We are an authentic Savannah Bed and Breakfast; owner occupied and operated. Originally built for Ellen Kelly in 1889, the property was opened as a Bed and Breakfast Inn in 1997. A true Victorian style and charm has been maintained throughout the years, where southern hospitality and comfort is a must. Located at the southwest corner of Forsyth Park, all historic attractions are within walking distance. The walk through Forsyth Park to the river is rated the most beautiful walk in the city. Our Historic Savannah Inn is open year-round. All of our rooms are upstairs and are furnished with a queen size, four-poster bed, antique armoire and chairs, period Savannah engravings and other memorabilia. The beds are dressed in handmade and vintage quilts, and the windows with silk black-out draperies. There is also a sitting area, small TV, ceiling fan, fireplace retro-fitted with blue-flame heater, and a private full bath. Rates range from $98 in the quiet season to $159 during the busy season. All rooms are the same rate.

Our two parlors are always open to our guests for reading, relaxing or getting acquainted with other travelers. Just sit and relax or enjoy a yummy combination of brownies and sherry, which are available to our guests around the clock. Start your day with a refreshing cup of premium roast coffee or savory hot tea (available to guests by 7:15 AM). A full hot breakfast is served at 8:30 am. You begin with a first course of fresh fruit followed by various combinations of delicious eggs, waffles, French toast, bacon, sausage or ham, potatoes, and, of course, Southern-style biscuits or muffins. We also accommodate requests for special dietary needs.

Down the street are lighted tennis courts, a health food store (The Brighter Day), our great neighborhood fair-trade coffee shop (The Sentient Bean) as well as fine dining. All historical attractions are within walking distance of the inn.
