Park Ridge Lodge

Park Ridge Lodge

Welcome to our private lodge for men only.  Located 0.3 miles off the parkway between traffic lights 9 & 10 in downtown Gatlinburg.  We are the second owners having been fortunate to purchase our home from the family who built it.  The home was built in 1962 and sits on two private acres.  It was designed by Hubert Bebb who was an innovative architect in the Gatlinburg area from the 1950's to the 1980’s.  Two of his well-known projects include Clingman’s Dome which he designed in 1955 and the iconic structure for the 1982 Knoxville World’s Fair titled “A Monument to the Sun”.  This structure remains one of the most recognizable buildings of the Knoxville skyline.

We feature four large guest suites each with en-suite bathroom and glass doors leading to your own patio.  Three of the guest suites will have king size beds while the fourth guest suite will have two queen beds.  The owner's quarters and bath are located just off the kitchen on the other end of the lodge.

In order to protect our guests privacy, the lodge is for members only.  We provide accommodations for male members age 21 and older.  Yearly membership dues are $10.00 and charged with your first reservation.  Your membership is valid for the next 12 months.

We welcome guests to relax in the great room and play a game of pool.  The great room features a stone fireplace and hearth and a vaulted ceiling with plenty of windows on both sides of the room so you may enjoy viewing the wildlife as they appear in the yard.  The back of the property borders the Great Smoky Mountains National Park so we have frequent visitors from black bears, wild turkeys, red foxes, deer, and raccoons.  You can truly enjoy the outdoors on the flagstone patio just off the great room with a view through the trees of Mount LeConte, the highest mountain peak in the state of Tennessee.

Guest are welcome to prepare a meal and grill outside on the gas grill.  Enjoy the mountain air and play a game of corn-hole or relax in the six man hot tub after a day of playing in the mountains.

Come and enjoy our lodge and experience all of the unique offerings of Gatlinburg and the surrounding area.

Staying at Park Ridge Lodge was exactly the kind of relaxing weekend I needed. Terry and David are incredible hosts. They are great conversationalists and gave us good ideas on what to do. The property is gorgeous. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed it outdoors on the patio while looking into the Smokey Mountains and watching wildlife. I loved relaxing in the hot tub each night. The property is walkable to the city, which allows you to avoid parking fees on the city. You will not regret a stay here. I can’t wait to go back and take a group of friends.
