Snuba is a great way to see the third largest barrier reef in the world from underwater without having to be scuba certified. It is your easiest and safest way to enjoy our gorgeous tropical reef which is filled with colorful fish and breathtaking coral formations. No prior snorkeling experience is needed. People 8 years old or older who can swim are qualified to Snuba dive.
Snuba is easy and it gives you the advantage of not having to wear cumbersome dive gear. You simply breath through a scuba regulator that is connected to an air tank. The tank is in a raft that floats on the surface and follows you around while you swim underwater. This gives you the benefit of being able to stay under water as long as you want, having the flexibility to stay at any depth you feel comfortable (maximum depth is 20 feet) and the ability to come to the surface whenever you want.
With Snuba you will have a friendly certified guide that will give you some simple instructions on the way out to the reef. Once in the water they will make sure you are comfortable with the equipment and then give you an underwater tour of our beautiful and safe underwater environment. For more personalized attention the group size is limited to only 6 participants per guide.
Our boat, The Miss Sunshine, is a beautiful Coast Guard Certified 33 foot power catamaran. The Boat is comfortable and has sunny and shaded areas, a large swim deck for easier access in and out of the water, cushioned seats, a fresh water rinse and a large bathroom.
We also provide complimentary sodas, bottled water and beer (beer is served to guests over 21 years of age after the dive). Complimentary wet suits are also included when requested.
Medical restrictions can preclude some participants from Snuba diving.
