The Freewheelers is the world's oldest Gay Classic Car Club, founded in 1978. We have over 200 members in our club and over 1,100 vintage and classic cars.
Membership is open to all genders and orientations, and ownership of a classic or vintage car is not a requirement for membership... just a genuine interest in vintage and classic automobiles. While our primary membership base of operations is in Northern California, we have members throughout the United States, Canada, and New Zealand.
Our club typically has one weekend rally, tour, or event per month, as well as monthly mid-week local cruise nights from April through October. Significant annual events include the West Coast Meet in July (where multiple clubs join together), our Benefit Car Show in September, and our Holiday Party.
From Acura to Zundapp, the broad variety of cars in the club reflects the diverse tastes and interests of our membership.
