Nestled in the little town of Christiansburg in the Blue Ridge Mountains, The Oaks Victorian Inn returns you to a bygone era of elegance and grace. Major W.L. Pierce built The Oaks in 1889 as a wedding gift for his bride Julia Baird who devoted her life to this grand Victorian lady. She bore seven children in the room named for her and lived in The Oaks until her death at the age of 99.
Beautiful surroundings, luxurious guest rooms, warm hospitality, 3 course candlelit breakfasts and 300 year old oak trees are the hallmark of The Oaks. After spending your day antiquing, hiking, golfing or visiting Virginia Tech come back to the inn’s large wrap-around porch where you will find relaxing wooden rockers and cushiony wicker chairs and sofas.
Enjoy the soft evening breeze, engage in quiet conversation and have a glass of wine from one of the many vineyards in Virginia. The Oaks is 2 miles off I-81 exit 114, just 10 minutes from Virginia Tech and RadfordUniversity, approx 30 minutes from local wineries and 25 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
