I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, couples and in groups on issues ranging from depression, anxiety and phobias to relationship conflicts, career frustrations or crisis and "coming out". My personal life experiences and education in family and child development, classroom teaching, diversity training, business management and clinical psychology (particularly in the areas of interpersonal relationships and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) make me uniquely qualified to help you with any of these stressors. Your level of comfort with me is very important. Our initial telephone conversation and meeting will give us a sense of our compatibility. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you.

What kind of a therapist am I? I am not the kind of therapist you see on television who just nods and repeats what you say. I am a results-oriented, solution focused, interactive and compassionate therapist. I seek first to deeply understand your concerns and needs, then I help to generate new solutions and options to address and resolve them. The topics we explore and analyze are ones that are relevant, important and authored by you.

My goal is to help you feel emotionally satisfied and mentally resolved with your pressing concerns. I will help you to identify and build upon your strengths and available resources so you can consistently feel balanced and fulfilled.

** If individual therapy is too costly for you, please call and ask me about my lesbian & bisexual women group therapy. **

Thuy (Twee)
 A "Real" Therapist, 04-20-2011 11:22AM

By: Thuy (Twee)

I've worked with a small handful of therapist throughout my life. Twee is the first one that I've felt most comfortable with to talk about my sexual orientation, relationship struggles and life secrets. She's extremely personable, easy going and wise beyond her age. I call her my "real" therapist. She thinks and speaks with confident, maturity and compassion, I highly recommend you give Twee a try at helping you overcome your issues.
