Studies have shown that one of the key differentiators when making travel decisions for gay and lesbian vacationers is the “gay friendliness” of the destination or resort.
To qualify, properties must be “open to actively welcoming gay and lesbian vacationers and extending the same service levels, courtesies and professionalism as they extend to all other visitors.” Therefore, only confirmed “gay-friendly” properties are included in this program.
