Ward Manor At Buck Mountain

Ward Manor At Buck Mountain

Ward Manor is an elegantly furnished bed and breakfast nestled on 280 acres at Buck Mountain in Grayson County, Virginia. Guests have the unique opportunity to enjoy both opulent accommodations and services with the serenity of babbling mountain streams, abundant wildlife and magnificent views. Escape the stresses of everyday life with a visit today to Ward Manor.

Upon entering Ward Manor one is immediately taken back in time to the days of parlor courtship and the sounds of the old victrola and piano.

Guests will enjoy country cooking on fine china in the formal dinning room of Ward Manor. This room is decorated entirely with family pieces dating from the mid 1800's. Guest will marvel at the built in stain glass china cabinet designed by original house master T. W. Ward.

One of the most used rooms of the Ward family, the living room is decorated with mounted pieces of both family and friends. The most noticeable furnishing of the room is it's ceiling high wardrobe. This piece was carried home in the back of a rumble seat car. It was obtained in trade for a Ward fattened pig.

Guests will enjoy the privacy of the upstairs hallway while taking morning coffee.
