Westside Unitarian Universalist Congregation (WSUU) is a spiritually liberal faith community that welcomes you whatever your sexual orientation, gender, status, age, or racial identity. We are a faith that cherishes the whole of you, where you don't have to check your powers of reason at the door. UUs have been officiating marriages (life partnership ceremonies) for gay and lesbian couples for over 45 years. WSUU feeds your spirit, expands your mind, and works for justice.
Our congregation has a membership of over 200 people, 20% GLBT individuals, couples and families.
WSUU is conveniently located just south of Morgan Junction on California Ave SW in West Seattle. Services are at 10:30 every Sunday, with age specific classes for our children and youth following a Story for All ages. Learn more about our children's programs on our website, but suffice it to say that our children learn to love themselves and to love others without prejudice. They see here many diverse families, and they feel at home and loved by our congregation.
