The AIDS Committee of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Area envisions a community in which all people receive the highest quality support and resources to make informed decisions about HIV/AIDS that meet individual needs, promote acceptance and cultivate self-determination.
We provide:
- Support to those living with HIV/AIDS through practical needs, education, counseling, group socials
- Education and awareness to those who support those living with HIV/AIDS, and the community at large through workshops, information booths and outreach
- Outreach to communities at high risk for HIV such as youth and men who have sex with men through bar, park, street and soup kitchen engagement
- Capacity community building with the African/Caribbean and Black community
- Provide safer sex kits, free condom and lube and a needle exchange program
