I provide psychotherapy in a warm, supportive environment, using a diverse set of clinically appropriate methods which foster people's understanding of their own strengths, exploration of their uniqueness and a determination of where and how to make changes in their lives.
For individuals:
My areas of focus center around Anxiety and Depression and the various ways symptoms are manifested as a result of these disorders. Our work will begin by discovering, identifying and exploring your feelings and how to better manage them and the impact they have on your life.
For couples:
I work with a broad variety of couples -- fresh, new romances and more "seasoned," long-term relationships; those who are married, partnered or "just dating for a long time and trying to figure out our options..."
I find that most couples are frustrated in difficulties associated with communication (asking for what they want, working through conflict, feeling that they can be open and honest with their partner, etc.). These conflicts could revolve around sex, money, careers, parenting, "getting along with each other," getting in touch with the romance they once had. Each couple is unique in their strengths and challenges.
About using Health Insurance:
I am "In-network" and considered a preferred/participating provider with the following insurance companies/carriers:
Even if I'm not in-network with your insurance company, I am happy to "take the insurance" information and file the claim electronically on your behalf as a courtesy to you.
