Lois Horowitz, Ph.D., LCSW, is a psychotherapist in private practice with offices in Chelsea, New York City, and in Newburgh, New York (Hudson Valley).
For more than 25 years, she has provided psychotherapy and counseling for clients in individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and couples counseling. She is also an author and recent contributor to PsyBC.com, the award winning online continuing education website for mental health professionals.
As an educator, Dr. Horowitz has taught as an adjunct professor of advanced clinical courses at Adelphi University's School of Social Work. She has supervised therapists in the Gay and Lesbian Affirmative Psychotherapy training program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, and she currently supervises at the Institute for Human Identity.
